Torrens River in the of the city of Adelaide
The "pigs" (on the left) of Rundle Mall in Adelaide city.
The old Rail Station at Port Elliot where we catch the "Cockle Train" to Victor Harbor.

Clare recalling the childhood memories of riding in the old carriages.
The Cockle Train only runs on Sundays between Victor Harbor and Goolwa and has been restored, maintained and run by a group of local railway buffs.

The rail line runs beside the beach to Victor Harbor.

Alighting at Victor Harbor

to catch the horse drawn tram to Granite Island.
An old restored paddlewheeler at the wharf at Goolwa, where the Murray River meets the sea.

No title, just a study of birdlife.

Another one of those oversize, aussie mock-ups, a giant crayfish at Kingston S.E., South Australia

One of our quiet, free camps near Robe, S.A.

The Blue Lake, Mount Gambier, still one month away from turning completely blue.

Another quiet, secluded rest area to spend the night at the base of Mount Schank, south of Mount Gambier.

Sitting on the rim of Australia's youngest, extinct volcano, Mount Schank.

Gazing into the crystal clear waters of Piccaninnie Ponds wishing I had my diving gear with me, especially my thickness wetsuit.  The water temp is 10 to 15 degrees C.
